At Motif Academy of Music, we provide voice lessons for kids as well as adults. The minimum age to enroll for class is 6 years. In our academy, students will be learning all the essentials that a singer should know like reading staff notation, ear training, music theory and proper vocal technique.

Vocal Technique
Understanding different elements of the voice and how to access them is what makes a good singer. At motif academy, focus is given to several aspects that makes a voice stand out. Posture and breath support, vocal projection, articulation, vocal registration are few amongst the many techniques we teach through varied genres of music.
Ear Training
Training the ears to recognize the musical elements like melody, rhythm, harmony, tone, texture and dynamics is a very important aspect in any form of music. At the academy, we give importance to ear training for singers to help with pitch accuracy, singing intervals and also to interpret and study a piece of music better.
Sight Singing
The ability to read staff notation and be able to sing a pitch at sight is an additional skill to develop. At motif academy we give importance to basic sight singing to improve pitch accuracy and rhythm recognition. This is turn helps with ear training.
